Blessing Day--Sunday, June 1st 2008

I really wanted to get a family picture the day Catherine was blessed but she fell asleep before we could take one before church (after church is always chaos). So here she is anyway with a lovely bib and hospital paci. She was very good for her blessing and we wish you all could have been there with us!

Memorial Day BBQ

We had absolutely delicious shishkabobs with the Aguilars and Kim took some really cute pictures of Julia playing in a blanket. Here's the first one with Clark.

Latest visitors

Grandma Stimpson and Aunt Dawn were able to come help out this last week and it was wonderful to have them here. They toted the kids all over, grocery shopped, made wonderful meals and even reorganized all the cupboards in my kitchen (I must say it is much more functional now and I love it!) Collin and Julia loved having them here as well and were spoiled rotten : ) All the adult girls escaped on Saturday morning for manicures and pedicures thanks to Michael watching the kids. Then Mom and Dawn watched the kids that evening while Michael and I went on a dinner date to Cheesecake Factory. Scrumptious cheesecake of course!!!!

Sweet little Catherine
Collin and Julia got a cool airplane teeter-totter from Costco that Grandpa Lindsey and Dad put together last weekend. It's been a welcome addition to the backyard.
Collin and Julia really got into the play-doh one day and put on their Johnny Rocket's hats to serve me the meal they had prepared. It was soooo adorable and kept them occupied for a good amount of time.

Catherine, Feb 26 2008, 4:21am 7lbs 7 oz, 20 inches

We love our new sweet baby and are so happy to have Grandma and Grandpa Lindsey here to help with the kids and all the household chores. Grandpa, I have decided, makes Mary Poppins seem boring. He's taken the kids to the zoo , geo caching and has been running them to preschool and playdates and primary activities and any other errands. He's been playing game cube with Collin and any other demands he or Julia make. Mom has been taking good care of them too and me and baby Catherine. She has the amazing ability to accomplish many tasks in a short amount of time. I think I'm going to hire her full time. I hope they know how much we appreciate all their hard work!!!! Catherine doing what she does best, she only wakes up to eat!!
